How you know you’re at a conference for geeks: Out of 1200 attendees, 1170 are men. Out of the 30 women, there are probably 7 that are attractive. One just walked past me, and her sweater is on inside out. Even the attractive women in this place can’t dress themselves.

Ah, Florida. I forgot how much, um, fun it is to walk out of an air-conditioned building and have your glasses fog up so completely you’re forced to take them off. I’m here for a week-long
developer’s conference. This gives me a great opportunity for people watching.
