The Photo album
Here's where you can really tell I have some webspace to kill.
Oahu 12/27/03-12/30/03, Kaua'i 12/30/03-01/08/04.
Grapenut and Jake, super crime-fighting duo, adopted on August 11, 2001.
On December 13th, 2003, Jake died of heartworms. He was infected when we got him, and we had no idea. Most cats don't live for 2 1/2 years with heartworms, so I was very lucky to have his company for so long. Rest in peace, buddy.
In October 2004, Nugget joined the family. After a rough start, she and Grapenut are inseparable now.
From 12/30/01 - 01/05/02, a Windjammer cruise on board the S/V Yankee Clipper. We left Grenada at dawn on 12/31, and sailed as far north as St. Vincent, before returning to Grenada late on the 4th. It was a fun-filled week.
On May 20th, 2001, Kyle set sail on the Carnival Cruise Lines "Fun Ship" M/S Sensation with college friend Dan, his wife Rose, and their friends Dan & Terri and Dave & Karen for 1 week. Ports of call: Grand Cayman, Cozumel, New Orleans.
The 3rd annual trip to Walkers Cay; Kyle's 2nd time going.
Walker's isn't your average Bahamian resort ... the only reason to go there is if you're scuba diving or deep sea fishing. There's nothing else to do on the island. For divers, the main attraction is the "Shark Rodeo", which gives you the opportunity to dive with 50-75 sharks while they feed on a "chumsicle" -- a frozen ball of fish heads and tails.
A whitewater rafting trip on the Kennebeck River, Maine. July 2000.
